I haven't posted yet about One to Go and it's fab ending. It was better than I had hoped for. That is thanks in large part to the wonderful, non verbal acting skills of William Petersen and Jorja Fox. It says a lot about an actor when they say more with their face than a monologue.

I loved the steamy kiss. I loved Grissom not stopping for long on his journey to see Sara (sorry bug). I loved how he threw down his backpack and the symbolization of it. I even loved how the geeky couple's kiss was viewed by the monkey. What made me most happy though was that it was a joyful ending. Sara finally got what she so desired for 9 years- Grissom. A new Grissom that was willing to put her first and say goodbye to the job that was once his life. Grissom finally got what he needed but tried to deny himself- Sara, his true love. Such a happy beginning for the two of them.

Now I may be able to watch Goodbye and Good luck without that pang in my stomach. I always had felt so awful for Sara, it was such a sad ending. But now I know that in the end love will win it. It might be easier to view :)

What an episode. Sad. Very sad. Warrick's death scene was brutual and completely graphic (gosh Grissom's shirt was covered). It was a hard way to say goodbye to a character, especially if you enjoyed the character. The cast all had each a "moment" or two for them to shine.

- Doc Robbins didn't do the autospy and Robert David Hall's face covayed why.
- David was almost lost...this wasn't any ordinary body.
- Ecklie was willing to get in trouble and give Grissom whatever he needed/wanted.
- Archie's face was amazingly sad at the funeral. All of the Lab rats were impressive.
- Greg's face and voice spoke volumes when he asked Grissom what he could do.
- Nick's shaking hand with the trigger on McKeen was so raw.
- The almost throwing up on Catherine's part was such a normal reaction.
- Sara's chocked voice as she hugged Grissom.
- Grissom's "I'll miss him", was heartbreaking.

I loved how much we got to see of Sara/Jorja. I'm glad she got to hug all of her former teammates. They didn't seem shocked to see her- it appears they have all kept in some sort of touch. I loved the Greg/Sara scene and how Sara found that Warrick was still gambling. She had never approved of that and it shows on her face that she still didn't. (And the gambling led to Holly's death and thus Sara coming to Vegas.) I was pleased when Sara voiced about the bullets- she would still be a good CSI. I was happy also that the show did address that Sara is better and that she needed to leave the area (not Grissom) for her own sanity.

Loved the hug :) Sara becomes Grissom's safe harbor in the middle of the storm. When he sees her for the first time his face brightens up for a brief second. She's offering him something that Las Vegas won't anymore- a new life. With Warrick dead, Las Vegas will never be the same place to Grissom. The crime lab won't mean as much because Warrick's ghost will be still around the halls. But Sara gives him a chance at a new life and the ability to be happy again. (Or so I hope.)

I was glad that instead of the ridicious promo pictures characters have in their apartments or lockers we actually had a real shot of the team together.

Just wow for this ep. Warrick Brown you will be sadly missed.

- "Be happy with yourself first then you can be happy with others." - Tommy

And the last CSI one:

- "Don't get caught with drugs or you'll get killed off your show."- Ariana

This is what happens when you ask kids to write words of wisdom. *G*

I still haven't gotten over the CSI finale.

jgjsgnllllomg

The episode needed to come with a warning label: May induce utter shock followed by heart palpatations. CBS and it's parent compnay are not responsible for you passing out or any other injury that might occur. Make sure the tv is located in a secrue place so when you want to shake it you do no harm to yourself or anyone else.

Ouch. Still sore from restraining a kid yesterday. 140 pound boy + anti-pysch meds not taken= well you can do that math.

Poem for the day:

A noiseless patient spider
by Walt Whitman

A noiseless patient spider,
I mark'd where on a little promontory it stood isolated,
Mark'd how to explore the vacant vast surrounding,
It launch'd forth filament, filament, filament, out of itself,
Ever unreeling them, ever tirelessly speeding them.

And you O my soul where you stand,
Surrounded, detached, in measureless oceans of space,
Ceaselessly musing, venturing, throwing, seeking the spheres to connect them,
Till the bridge you will need be form'd, till the ductile anchor hold,
Till the gossamer thread you fling catch somewhere, O my soul.

Hi there. Maybe you just clicked on this journal accidently. Maybe you don't have a clue who I am and don't care. Maybe you aren't a fan of Jorja Fox (what's the matter with you? Okay I digress). That's fine. But there is something you need to know about.

[info]jorjaallaround is fundraising to help Burma, a cause that Jorja as well as many other celebrities are all supporting. So check it out. Like I said, you don't have to be interested in this journal or this community but if you have an extra dollar or two it would be a great cause to give to. Check out the video on Burma posted on the community (with Jorja and Eric Szmanda). Check out the offical page.

So instead of buying that candy bar in the vending machine, do something good for people who need our help. Come on, you rock, you know it so just show it :)

Thanks in advance.
